Fading Hues

A collaboration exploring Autumn.

In conversation with Josa Glück's album, Fading Hues, I wrote a poem for each track. I dialogued with the story, emotion, and sounds I dissected from the music, alongside the prompt: "Artifacts of Autumn, decay that leads to beauty." The collaboration continued to grow with the addition of the beautiful photography of Katharina Bömers-Muller and pressed leaves collected in fall 2021 from Seattle, NYC, and Berlin.

I am delighted to share with you all this collection! I have always possessed strong emotions with regards to the fall season and it was an  experiment to put those feelings into words. Through this process, I may just see a bit more of the 'beauty' of fall than the 'decay.'
